Poverty in India
Today, 17th October is Internation Poverty Eradication Day. I live in India. So I can tell about my country. I can see here poverty is everywhere. When I go by train or by bus or by launch, there are beggers throughout the journey. I can see families living in the city or suburbs on the footpath under the open sky as the footpath is their home. I feel strange how they manage natural calamities living without a roof. Recent study reveals that half of the world's hungry live in India. NGO sources said, half of the kids of India are malnutritious. Therefore, if we want to eradicate poverty, we have to provide them roof, food and nutritions.
