It's rain!

I am on the vessel looking far and far across the Ganga, - it's raining and raining, distant Vidyasagar Setu totally bleak, hazy almost all the surroundings. And I am enjoying the incessant downpour.

This morning, at 10, on my way to Office, I reached ferry ghat to avail the vessel, when the Ganga and new clouds over the sky with drizzle - strike me.

Afternoon clouds!

This afternoon suddenly came outside my home and astonishingly found the front grass land has monsoon clouds over its breasts. I can't resist myself to capture a few snaps.

I am now sitting inside a chemists shop for the doctor to come. Suddenly the sky overcast almost 60% and here is drizzling at Singur, WB.

Too hot!! Monsoon! - come soon!!

Its too hot till today! I pray with all for the dearest monsoon. Hey monsoon! Where are you? I didn't see you, - come, come soon to wet burning lands, come to cold the warm, come to mitigate our irritations. Oh clouds - cover the bare sky, wrap the unbearable vigilant sun!

My Father

My father was a person of mixed personalities. I never admire him or had respect so much as one may expect because he was not so much lovable to all of us, but to some extent, I respect him for his affection. He always escorted me to the doctors when I used to fell ill, even upto that young ages of mine when I was getting education from colleges. My father used to take care of his siblings and spouse though he was almost ruthless to my mother.

In October, 2007 I went to Puri with family. We managed there to visit historical places by bus on conducted tour. My son was looking for something inside the bus when I captured this shot.

Last winter, I went to a flower show at Eden Gardens, Kolkata and snapped a few shots by Nokia N73 camera phone.

Dumping ground!

On my way to Office, local garbages are use to dump in front of a heritage building. And it takes vast area of footpath, for which, pedestrians like me usually have no choice than to go through with a life risk of running vehicles and taking bad smell of rotten garbages. A vehicle collects these garbages. You can see it in this pic.

Ferry Ghat at afternoon

A few hours ago I was returning home after office. When I reached ferry ghat of Kolkata, river Ganga was then shined with about-to-set sun. Luxury vessels and ships anchored. I snapped a few shots and now sending the pics to my photo journal delightfully.

Return journey

Hectic day about to over. Office goers set to return home. The vessel is coming.

Fw: Taking rest

This afternoon, I was going toilet and noticed these pigeons taking rest beside windows of my Office.
